To my grandchildren’s children,

I became an activist to be part of a force to save the natural world and go 100% clean energy.  Maybe I’ll live to 2046 and see for myself. I hope we haven’t left you in a wasteland of pollution and you are thriving. Please know I loved you and tried my best. May all your dreams come true.

I worry quite a lot about climate change.  I reuse, repurpose, recycle & live a simple life. There are NO REASONS to not be responsible. I sign, donate & tweet to reach out.

I plan to be a part of a transformation of society, where compassion and empathy become the norm. I think we can all live simply, make friends and find a purpose. There is nothing you can’t do if you give it your best shot everyday.

More Messages to the Future

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to work with my family and neighbors to reduce carbon output.

To the wonderful children of our family – Elayna, Julianna, and James –

There is no issue more important to your future and your friends’ future than stemming climate change.

Dear Grandchildren,

So here we are. In 2022 millions of people are suffering from the climate catastrophes, killing pollution and pandemic, not mentioning about poverty, gender and social injustice, racism, wars and dictatorships that can go on as long as bad people in power are allowed to grab our natural resources.

To my unborn children, hey it’s mummy Cris here!

I am witnessing climate change in a way that I do not like, and I do not know how can I stop it.

To my Kids,

I wish you all the best and always make sure that you can be proud of yourself and don’t need status-symbols for feeling nice.

dear me in 2030,

I am smelling burning plastic!

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to stop eating beef.

To my children,

If there is one thing that I taught you it is to be honest in your decisions as they pertain to yourselves and the earth in which you live.

Dear Luna,

I will never give up on you, on humanity, on the future.

Dear Maya, Emilio and Daniel,

We thought that the world was an endless supply of whatever we wanted… I know it sounds hard to believe, but that is the way it was.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to stop using a plastic straw.

Dear Kai and Leah,

I want you to feel awestruck like I do. It is important to feel small sometimes, to feel the weight of reality, to recognize the scale of a challenge, to see where you fit and what you are up against. This is the case with climate change.
