Nossa vida só tem qualidade se tem natureza ao nosso redor. Que seria de nós sem as árvores,flores, pássaros, animais água…Ah!!!Temos visto falar tanto que daqui a alguns anos, se não cuidarmos do nosso planeta, essas coisas irão acabar…Nãaao! Isso não pode acontecer! Vamos fazer nossa parte minha lindinha! Quero que este mundo continue belo, e que voce e suas amiguinhas e tooodas as pessoas, todos nós desfrutemos dessa maravilha que Deus criou para nós. Aqui está o meu compromisso de fazer a minha parte! Quero saber com orgulho que voce fez a sua. Combinado?

I promise to reach out to more people to ditch driving and consider using public transportation. I promise to convince Marin markets that sensible policies in density and mixed use planning will further enhance everyone’s quality of life.

I promise I will take short showers, eat less meat, and buy local more often.
 

Dear Potential Future Kiddo,

To think that my choices of sustainable commuting, eating a plant based diet, and working on our City’s zero waste program likely pale in comparison to the impact of not having a baby is nothing short of devastating.  Does it make me a bad environmentalist to honor my maternal instincts?
