Dear future,

When you open the internet these days and go on You Tube or instagram, you can find many posts and videos about climate change, dying species, air pollution, garbage patches in the ocean or any other themes that show how wasteful and selfish humans are. Everybody talks about it, but most politicians and big companies ignore these issues because they want to make more profit. Self-set goals to save our climate will not be complied.

Hopefully, this will change in the next decade. I hope that companies fight for reaching their climate goals and not for making more and more profit. I hope that politicians don’t give more empty promises. They should do something to deal with climate problems instead of fighting for their quota.

Without the help of politicians and companies, people alone can’t save the world. Let’s fight climate change together.

More Messages to the Future

To what we’ve overcome.

The first step would be in overcoming ourselves. Because whether we end up fading into obscurity, or thriving in prosperity, we will overcome ourselves.

Dear Future Me,

I hope that when we look back on these years,  you’ll see that humanity can be good. That we joined together and fixed it because of we don’t, who will?

My dear daughters,

I will use my voice to help bring awareness about climate change.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to go DEEP GREEN

To my future children,

It’s not enough to just recycle. I will sign petitions and call my local representatives. I will also engage in conversations about climate change – even with people with whom I don’t see eye-to-eye.

Dear Future,

“I knew you would want to know how the future turned out. You got so anxious about climate change as we grew older.  By coming back, I thought I could help you with that.”

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise I will do whatever I can to protect and preserve mother Earth for future generations.

To my precious children

I want clean air, clean energy and muddy feet for you. I want this for all children.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to not waste food and eat locally grown food.

My grandchildren,

I promise to do my very best to educate your parents as best I can.

Dear Alyssa,

I pray that more and more fathers will realize that to love their children well, they have to love and respect the ecological systems around them too.

Dear Jeremy,

We had a lot in common obviously, and our concern for the planet we live on was one of the many things we bonded over.
