I asked you, the future , to help us as well, to preserve our only planet that can give us life, that can let us watch anime, go to the beach, smell flowers, run through the meadow, listen to our songs, be in a concert, and let us live.

Dear Future,

Hi! It’s me..

How are you doing?

One more day before 2020 starts and it occured to me that a lot of things happened this decade. Before ending this year I suggest that I might as well send a message to the future. A warning and a description that we should not forget.

The rapid changes of our world. Specifically our home, the Earth. Glaciers are starting to collapse, the Amazon is burning, even in some parts of Africa are burning. The climate change and as well as the decreasing supply for the future generations. Things are changing and we’re not even that much aware of it. People wont try to even recognize or even to take action as to what should be done. We, the previous, we may seem to know whats happening but wont really care that much. That’s how people as of now. But we are trying. Bit by bit we can save our home. There’s a lot of people who’s helping, influencers and activist are trying to tell and do the things that should be done. While us in our school are segregating biodegradables and plastics. There’s also a new proclamation of the Department of Education that we need to plant trees before we could graduate High School which is nice. People are now trying to act, we need to face the inevitable and take the price.

I asked you, the future , to help us as well, to preserve our only planet that can give us life, that can let us watch anime, go to the beach, smell flowers, run through the meadow, listen to our songs, be in a concert, and let us live.

I hope you will do your part.

A well wisher,

-Esi ▷2019

More Messages to the Future

Dear AC,

I think a lot about where the right place to live is.

Dear future me,

My hopes have always been to live in a brighter and better generation, where women are respected around the world, human rights are respected and last but not least where animals and mother nature is cared for by us individuals.

Dear Nuriel, Eliran, and Rotem,

Sometimes I think we will never make it, but I know we must keep trying.

To My Future Children,

Most importantly, I hope you live in a world where science is taken seriously and fact is clearly distinguished from fiction.

Dear Tomorrow

Stay Cool and Save the Whales

Dear Kids,

My mistake was thinking I needed to give you more to be a good Mom. Recently your aunt asked me what my favorite toy was growing up. I gulped, I didn’t have one- it was the outdoors, sliding down a ravine of leaves with my Dad, skiing and camping. Today is October 12th, 2021 and I am still going to be giving you a lot, it’s going to look a little different – love, experiences, education and a healthy planet.

I pledge to take the bus.

Dear Maya, Emilio and Daniel,

We thought that the world was an endless supply of whatever we wanted… I know it sounds hard to believe, but that is the way it was.

To the generation after mine,

But when you encounter that resistance–and you will, regularly–know that you must respond just how we have had to these past 50 years. With love, and sternness, and most of all, courage. Because that is what the resistance fears the most. We who came before you promise that we will do the same while we wait for you. Know that you will never be alone.

Dear Future Today,

Here in California we’re starting to recognize our climate changing the natural world around us.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to ditch all the natural gas and go all electric with my home!

Para minha querida filha, Vitória,

Consegue compreender que estamos aqui de passagem e que temos por obrigação apenas tomar emprestado, evitado excessos e principalmente agradecer.
