Aos meus sobrinhos queridos, Ana Laura, Luis Carlos e Helloísa,

Estamos no ano de 2015 e ouvimos todos os dias o quão bagunçado está nosso clima… Calor demasiado, chuvas torrenciais, ventanias descontroladas.

No Brasil não costumava nevar a 20 ou 30 anos atrás, mas no sul de nosso país hoje em dia neva no inverno, é certo que é pouco, mas neva.

Estamos vivendo épocas de estiagem muito prolongadas, o calor está se tornando insuportável. Antigamente era luxo ter ar-condicionado em carros ou casas, hoje é quase uma necessidade, pois não conseguimos respirar um ar tão carregado de calor.

Assistimos tantos filmes que são quase profecias, pois mostram um mundo cinzento e sem vida. Se não tomarmos atitudes para que o clima fique pelo menos estabilizado, estaremos perdidos.

Estamos consumistas demais, destruindo florestas, produzindo muito lixo, contaminando solo e água, para que isso? Vamos nos conscientizar de que a natureza precisa da nossa ajuda. Aliás, a natureza não precisa de nossa ajuda e sim do nosso respeito por ela.
O respeito pela não destruição e sim da sua preservação e cuidados.

Aliás, o que será do mundo em 2050? Será que teremos árvores? Água limpa? Algum espaço verde?

Talvez eu não esteja viva para ver alguma mudança, mas espero que vocês vejam e tenham um mundo melhor em 2050. Plantei um ipê rosa e outro amarelo, que eles estejam florindo até 2050.

Que tenhamos amor pela natureza, preservando e reconstruindo o quanto pudermos. Trabalho de formiguinha, devagar e sempre.
